It all started in 2016, in 8th grade, with my own Minecraft servers: small gameplay plugins at first, then increasingly complex systems. The highlight came in 2018: my own cloud cluster system "Jarvis", a multi-module Maven project with Cassandra, Redis, load balancing and automated deployment via Jenkins, built for networks with several thousand concurrent players. That is where I learned what performance and concurrency mean under real load.
After school, my path led into business: an IHK retail apprenticeship in a furniture store, then sales and independently running the warehouse at a solar retailer, most recently two years of field sales at HEIM & HAUS. Not the direction my heart would have chosen, but a tough school in how to work. And the same pattern everywhere: after a short time, I was the internal go-to person for IT. In parallel, I worked as a junior application developer at IndieLemon GmbH & Co. KG, building Java applications for a network with thousands of concurrent users, simply out of longing for technology.
Now I am drawing the conclusion: from August 2026 I am back at school. At Schulzentrum Utbremen I am completing the Fachhochschulreife with a focus on computer science. The computer science department was pre-approved for me by the Bremen school authority based on my prior experience. I expect to graduate in June 2027. After that I want to combine both: the theoretical foundation from the degree and hands-on practice in a company. I am not starting from zero, I am finally starting my dream career.
